Most headaches can be linked to a problem in the spine, and very often, not always, that problem is in the neck. Syringomyelia is a disorder in which a cyst forms within the spinal cord, and Arnold Chiari malformations are structural defects that result in the cerebellum and brain stem being pushed downward into the spinal column. During this time of year, we are all prone to slipping on the ice. I got out of my car this morning, and all though I didn’t expect it, the parking lot was covered with a thin sheet of ice caused by rain that had frozen.
