The sacroiliac joint is located at the base of the spine at the junction of the
sacrum and pelvis. Dysfunction in the sacroiliac joint can result in pain in the immediate area and even refer pain to the hip, groin,
buttocks, or thigh. In a 2012 study, 32 women with sacroiliac joint syndrome found immediate pain relief after a single chiropractic
treatment and significant reduction of pain both 48 hours and one month following treatment.
